Pinterest Love - for the home

I have recently been working through Denise Duffield-Thomas's Lucky Bitch Bootcamp and one of the interesting things that came up is the concept of upgrading things in your life. I have a pinterest board with some lovely things for the home, I am sending out vibes to invite some of these to come and live in my home...

I love Joseph Joseph goods, clever and pretty! To be honest, I wouldn't say no to any of the things on their website.

We don't have a patio set, just the camping table, which admittedly, isn't very comfortable, it would be lovely to upgrade to something like this.... Our yard is round and I can see this with some comfy cushions and a shade of course.

What is there not to love about these super-cute whisks? Better than my ¥100 metal one :)

Since becoming a Jamie Oliver addict, I have started serving food on a board, I would love to have something a bit more stylish than the one we have got.

And cake stands, totally impractical and take up loads of space unless it is a foldable one, and if you are going for foldable, Alessi has to be the best one on the market.

So, now your turn - if there is one thing you could upgrade in your home (taking money is no object) what would it be, it can be something small like a can opener or maybe something bigger like a new sofa. be specific :)

  1. another Joseph Joseph fan here :) (though my home is sadly still without any of it).

I realllllly want their garlic crusher (I should just buy it) & the foldable digital scale. Lovely stuff.

  2. Who is the manufacturer of the wooden patio set?

    1. I don't know, I bookmarked the image ages ago (before I discovered pinterest), pretty sure it was American, I loved the idea because it was round but would be able to buy it from overseas, I have yet to see one here that fits the bill.

  3. Those Joseph Joseph utensils were on sale in Costco today, I think they were ¥2700. That's fairly achievable!!

  4. The 1st thing I would upgrade is out 25 year old TV. The thing is HUGE & ugly & takes up so much space! Then I would replace our sofa (which is also too big for our living room space) with something more sleek. :)

  5. I love those brilliantly designed kitchen utensils at the top of your post, too. Saw them at Costco the other day for just U.S. $20 for a set of 5!

  6. Mmm, let's see... new fridge, new sofa, new mixer (I lust after Kitchenaids), new TV wouldn't go astray, new 'pooter to replace my 6-year-old dinosaur, new dining suite (although it would be a wrench to say goodbye to our current one, which was our first major furniture purchase after we got married), new work desk. Actually, I think the thing I would upgrade first would be our knives for food preparation. I've never managed to buy a decent set and we currently use Victorinox steak knives for everything... and I mean everything... that needs chopping, slicing, cutting, paring or peeling.
