I wi...I love reading about all of your adventures. I wish I had time to comment on all of them :) My grandmother used to make persimmon cookies every year when I was young. Living in Indiana you can find persimmon pudding everywhere, but never persimmon cookies. Even the pudding you usually have to buy locally. Now that she is in her nineties, she doesn't cook anymore, so I decided to learn how to make them as a gift for Christmas. They were just as delicious as I remembered and she was thrilled that I actually went into the kitchen!Rebeccanoreply@blogger.com
