Today we went to check the support structure thay have put in. From what I understand, because the land is soft in some places and the Sanyo house, being a steel structure is so heavy they need to put in extra support. They basically bolt the foundations to the bedrock. At moment they are slightly ahead of schedule so if we are lucky with the weather they will be able to get the foundations laid soon. Once they have done that it only takes 3 days to actually build the house! It's all the fixtures and fittings that take all the time.
Now we have got to decide what kind of front/post box we want and stuff like fencing and carport.
