39Art

39Art (pronounced san cue Art (thank you) ) is an art festival held in Kawaguchi city each year. This year Yasuyo asked me if I would like to take part and exhibit my work at the farm. They have a beautifully restored kura building that I can use and I am very excited to get involved.
I will have some goodies out for sale including the latest pattern which I will be sharing with you next week plus 3 new mini patterns to make for the special little people of your life and there will be some new kits which are great for beginner sewists.

As if that isn't enough to tempt you, Yasuyo has also invited some of her friends, Ai who runs the cafe Aire Amano will be putting on soft drinks, sweets and lunch menu. Ai is also a singer so she might be putting on a live performance too.

Chiyako from Nennekorin is a midwife will also be there with the beautiful baby slings that she designed

Yumi from Yasashiya will be there teaching classes on how to dye fabric with bamboo leaves from the farm, she will have classes for children too.

Finally Yasuyo and Gen will also be selling their organic tomatoes and let me tell you, even if you are not interested in any of the other things going on, it is worth the trip just for the tomatoes - sooo good.
