Yesterday, we had some errands to run in the morning but then in the afternoon we decided to go and try Ebi-kun's kite out, that he had made at school. Actually, I think it was pre-made and he just decorated it. I won't let him fly the kite near our home because there is nowhere that is clear of trees or electric cables so we drove down to the river as that is nice open space.
It was a beautiful clear day, bit chilly but we did have a nice view of Fuji-san in the distance.
And it was absolutely perfect kite flying weather, just the right amount of wind...
He managed to get flying at the full length of the sting, all 50m of it, there is some exhilarating about flying a kite isn't there?
