We have a great set of pencils that my mom sent and in the set are charcaol pencils. Ebi-kun wanted to try using them, normally I let him just get on with it but charcoal is soooo messy so we sat together and worked with it. I showed him how to use it with chalk to great shadows and highlights. He reeled off about 6 of these kinds of pictures. I think we need a bigger shelf for all his art!
