MTD - Giveaway!

A double giveaway today!
Remember this tin I did a couple of week ago? I have been trying to get my
hands on another set of cute picks but as of yet I have had no luck BUT the winner
will get either a set of those picks, if I can get some or I will make up
a pack of other cute picks and things.
To win, just leave a comment on THIS post and tell me which food would you LOVE to find in your own MTD and which food would you HATE to find.
I will draw a winner, Monday 17th May at about 8am Japan time. You MUST leave a contact email address with your comment.

Michelle is the host of Muffin Tin Monday and often has a theme going on too and a Mr Linky so you can add your tin to all the other MTDs out there. I made these cute Muffin Tin Monday picks using Michelle's button (you can grab a button for yourself by visiting her blog). I also added some more flags to the file with food types on them, I thought it would be a fun exercise for Ebi-kun to label his own dinner.

So, here is the file, it is the first time I have tried to embed a PDF into a post, so I hope it works! There is also time to enter the crafty bits giveaway and the culture items giveaway.

  3. I decided to post about an ocean theme. In mine, I would love to find dried squid. When my brother was still a teenager and in the military, he was married to a beautiful Korean woman who knew things that amazed me about food. Being only eight at the time, I will never forget the care packages she would get when they were visiting. You can't find food like that here, and I have no idea what it was called and how to find it. She isn't in touch now since it has been so many years ago but I still think of her. The thing I would hate, anything raw!

  28. Oh yes, those were really cute picks. Let me see now. Indian food is all together - even if there are sixteen dishes, its all served and eaten in the same plate with some kind of bread or rice or both, so the concept of muffin tin dinner has been difficult for me to arrange. But for myself, I sure can imagine! I'd love to have - Indonesian frog legs, baked escargots, something Ethiopian, sushi with wasabi, a couple of desserts, some caviar, perhaps truffled eggs. Oh, Canadian salmon would be nice too, fresh of course. Not foie gras, grasshoppers, tori subzi, tinned tuna, deep fried oily chips. :)
