Ebi-kun often comes home with little letters and pictures from his friends but yesterday we found this in the postbox
It was a decorated paper bag and inside was a letter and a little bell from the girls down the road. When Ebi-kun started yochien the older sister was his hancho-san (it was her job to show him the ropes for the first few weeks) and then this year Ebi-kun was the younger sisters hancho-san. Ebi-kun being Ebi-kun takes his responsibility very seriously and even though he no longer has to look out for her he makes a point to find her each day and play with her for a bit. So the letter was from the older sister thanking him for looking after and playing with her little sister. Isn't that sweet?
