International Author Donates To Local Library...

OK, that headline is a bit OTT! I did donate several copies of Montessori Inspired Activities to the local library, hopefully some of the local moms will find them of use.

If you are in the UK, the book is registered with the British Library and so if you request it, they should be able to get it in for you.

If you'd rather have your own copy then you can get it from Amazon (paperback or kindle) or if you want to save on shipping The Book Depository is your best bet.

From the Uk we go to the other side of the world to…

New Zealand! This tour would have been so cool to do in real life but the jet lag would have killed me! Today we pop into the Pukeko Patch. Pop across to see what Lynn has to say about Montessori Inspired.

And don't forget to enter the giveaway HERE.

Available on Amazon HERE and with FREE international shipping HERE.

Today we visit...

Apologies for the lack of regular posts the last few days, I have a tummy bug and have not really felt up to editing pics and writing, I will be back in full force soon!

Until then, pop over to visit Deb at Living Montessori Now. Deb is a former Montessori teacher and homeschooled her own kids, so she knows what she is talking about. If you are interested in Montessori, she has a lot of great resources on her blog, go check it out now!

Fun times with Mrs Ricefield

We are off to visit Mrs Ricefield today, her kids had fun with the colour mixing and is a great example on how the same activity can work with mixed ages… Pop over to Mrs Ricefield to see what her youngest did with the blue food colour…

WHoo-hooo!

Montessori Inspired Activities For pre-schoolers is a collection of 50 activities to do at home using Montessori's theories but without the expensive equipment. All of the ideas have been tried, tested and blogged about. I pulled them all together and re-wrote some of them. Each activity has a photo, list of items needed and instructions of how to present it. Plus many have extension ideas too.

This is book one and includes activities Ebi-kun did from 2 - 4 years old but many of them he was still using until he was six.
