OK, that headline is a bit OTT! I did donate several copies of Montessori Inspired Activities to the local library, hopefully some of the local moms will find them of use.

If you are in the UK, the book is registered with the British Library and so if you request it, they should be able to get it in for you.

In a nutshell

Today we are back in Japan and visiting a fellow foreign-mom-married-to-a-Japanese-guy blogger. Jen is a fellow bookaholic and is a great resource for finding books for kids, she also has a big interest in bilingualism so if that is something you are dealing with be sure to have a poke around on her blog! 

I think Jen sums up my whole philosophy behind the book in a nutshell when she said…

I am a full-time working mom living in the sticks of southern Japan and there wasn't a single activity in this book we weren't able to prepare for, and I can't say that about any other activity book or magazine I've bought for my kids, so this gets a two thumbs up from mama!

Off to South Africa...

How much do I wish this tour wasn't just a virtual one! Today we are off to meet se7en + 1, a homeschooling family in South Africa. Their blog is jam packed full of great ideas that are perfect for homeschooling or just taking on their own as stand alone projects.

Today the book tour takes us to Australia to the creative Nicky at Tiny Chefs, if you are interested in getting your kids in the kitchen, you have to check out her blog. Nicky specializes in showing teachers how to use food/cooking in the classroom but many of her ideas can be used at home too.
