It's Here And It Will Rock The Pants Off You!

THIS!

This is what I have been slaving away, not really slaving as it was fun, but you know what I mean.

Hours and hours of blood, sweat and tears have gone into making this. I am absolutely in love with how it has all turned out, this is what the Kaizen Revolution looked like April 9th...

And this is where we are at today... The main menu page...

Masterclasses - a new one delivered very month with experts at the top of their game....

Kaizen hacks so that you can make the most of your time, do more and get more done! New hacks added each month.

How To... tech library of tutorials...

A bonus - The Moms Zone boredom busting, open-ended activity ideas for the kids, present by Ebi-kun...

As you can see there is a lot of great stuff in there, carefully curated so that you can make the most of the time that you have. The masterclasses come with action packs that you just need to fill in an implement, the guesswork is taken out of the equation.

the tutorials are fluff free so that you can get straight in there get the job done without having to listen to a load old waffle!

And you get all this for just $20! I know, batshit crazy BUT I wanted this to be affordable for all those just starting out and wanting to make shit happen but are getting stuck on the how.

Now you have no excuse!

If you don't have $20 to invest in your business, then honestly, you have no right to be in business. I started out with nothing, I scraped and saved enough to make the first investment and that was the push I needed to take things bigger. A caramel Frappuccino a week is all it costs. IT'S MY JAPANAVERSARY!

18 years, yes 18 years since I first stepped foot in the land of the rising sun and crazy TV!

I doesn't feel that long really and there are still some major WTF moments and there are plenty of things in the supermarket that I'm still clueless about!

I decided to celebrate, not with 18 tequila slammers (because I have grown up a bit since 1998!) No, instead I am having a flash sale...

I have 10 spots for mini Pick My Brain sessions, these usually got for $500 and I am throwing caution to the wind and letting 10 people grab a spot for just $180.

I know, crazy pants right?

So what do you get?

ME and my supersonic brain, it would be weird to have me without it really.

Whatever you need help with we will dig deep, thrash out some ideas then come up with a manageable plan.

I'll record the session so you can listen back and I'll write up the notes from the session with an action plan for you to follow so that you can achieve your goals.

Sound good?

then pop over HERE to get all the details and grab your place. Be quick, this off is for 48 hours only and only for 10 of the fastest action takers, slow pokes miss out on all the fun!

See you over there,

How to get back on track after falling off the wagon...

*This training is up for a limited time only*

Isn't it weird

That doctors, teachers, lawyers etc all do years of training before they are let free with patients and students etc. but parents, it's "Here's the baby, we'll check in with you in a few week - off you go!"

We are supposed to know 'instinctively' how to do everything and how to be a great mom!

I don't know about you but it didn't matter how many classes I attended (incidentally they were rubbish, I learned how to make clam chowder - not exactly useful when I don't eat any kind of fish!) Anyway, where was I? yes, classes and books didn't prepare for what was to come!

The crazy roller coaster of emotions...

The feeling of total incompetence, not knowing if my baby was sick enough to warrant a trip to the doctor or if I was being paranoid! No one warned me about the hot cups of tea I would never get to drink, that I would sometime remember at three in the afternoon that I hadn't brushed my teeth -- or had I? Or was that yesterday? Who knows!

That I would spend the first few months like a walking zombie and that getting 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep would be like winning the lottery! Having no family or friends nearby and a husband that worked stupid amount of hours, it was a lonely time back then and I often doubted my ability to be a good mom, let alone a great one.

My goals were simple -

Make it to the end of the day without losing my sh*t, sounds simple but believe me, it was one of the toughest things I have ever done.

Then something magical would happen, I would be getting dinner on the table - and at the time I was aiming for, I was having a shower and brushing my hair and teeth (on a daily basis!), I was getting the household jobs done and getting baby down for a nap and into bed one time.

Ohhhh yeahhhh I have this mothering lark down! High fives all round...

Until BAM - sideswiped and everything goes pear-shaped again.

Then the battle begins to get back in the saddle and sometimes I would think, I just can't do this sh*t anymore.

But I could and I did. Dust myself down and start again.

And after time I started seeing patterns, recognising when that side swipe was headed my way. I couldn't always stop it but I could sure as hell put on some padding so it didn't hurt so much. I started listening and understanding, knowing what I needed to do and when, so that it was easier and quicker to get back in the saddle each time.

Which leads me to the question I get asked about the most...

How to get back in the saddle?

Normally I only share this with my paying clients but every mama I know needs help with this at some stage so I hope it will be useful for you too - whether you are currently riding high, in control of it all or it you feel like you are doggy paddling and only just keeping your head above the water.

The training is in three parts, today's is all about getting back on track and how to prepare for next time, because, there will always be a next time.

If you want to make sure you get the second in the series of the training videos, pop your name in the box below (you will also get the weekly jojoebi playbook!)

Share in the comments you a-ha moments or pop over to the Moms That Rock group and let me know what you think or ask any questions that you might have.

The reason why 3% of the time I hate being an entrepreneur...

This last week has been absolutely hell!

Up and down along a rollercoaster of emotions, I'm not sure how long I can keep it up! On one hand I have been doing the Kitchen Bootcamp and we have had some amazing before and afters and weird finds!

Even though it is hard work and I spend far more time than usual of Facebook, I do love interacting in the groups and cheering people on, just look at some of the before and afters...

And there were a lot more like that, of course there have been strange finds from the house deeds to a mummified cucumber!

So Bootcamp is fab then on the flip side of the coin, my website died!

97% of the time I love my job, love working for myself and the whole kit and caboodle but sometimes.... that 3% of the time, flipping burgers starts to look desirable!

Paypal are bringing some new rules but they didn't tell anyone that they are enforcing them now even though they said the deadline was September. I have spend all week trying to figure out a workaround, not wanting to close the site whilst I was mid launch but nothing seemed to work.

In the end I had to concede that the only way I could get the whole thing to work again was to migrate the site to it's own server. Major headache but it's in progress so I am hoping and praying that once it has moved I can get everything working again!

I have hardly slept this week and when I have I have been dreaming about IPN intergrations and SSL certificates!

Gah!

So, if you happen to pop over to jojoebi and the site is down, that is why.

On the upside I have a new plugin that is fab and the new courses site will be fabulous!

The Mastermind Vs Coach Smackdown...

Okay! I have had a lot of questions along the same theme so I'm going to do a webinar tomorrow to explain it all. This is all to do with the In With A Boom Mastermind that I am running this spring (we kick off on the 7th - just in case you missed it!)

The main question is about the difference between a mastermind and a coach and how it all works. Whether your situation right now needs one or the other (or sometimes both!)

I'll share what I have learned about the coaches and masterminds I have been and why they were great or not so great so that you can can decide whether this is really something you need.

There are also accountability partners and mentors to throw into the mix too!

Time: 9am JST
Date: 6th Jan 2016
Place: Google Hangout HERE

I hope to see you there!

And if you want to know more about In With A Boom, click over, there is about a day and a half to secure your spot, that's if all the seats are not taken! Don't dilly-dally!

Bloggy MakeOver....

I finally did it!

I have been putting this off for what feels like forever! It was hard to let go of the original branding but since I introduced The Inspired Mama Revolution, I felt it was important to get everything consistent across the board as it were.

Ebi-kun and I have also got hooked on periscope and Youtube, we have been playing around over there, setting up channels and playlists and generally having a nice clean out!

He loves doing the book reviews, so expect them to be a regular feature, along with Ebi-kun eats - periscope only has the recording up for 24 hours but we will have them up on Youtube and post them on here too.

If you want to catch us live you can follow me on periscope at:
https://www.periscope.tv/jojoebi

If you are on there, let me know so I can catch your scops too :)

Hope you like the new layout and colours, if you come across anything that is broken, do let me know!

Ready For The Self Care Challenge?

yep, it is that time of year again.

Now the kids are back in school it is time to start looking after YOU, putting YOU first and stop pushing yourself to the bottom of the pile.

We will be doing a week of mini challenges, they will be small but significant and designed to slip into your already busy day!

In seven short days you will…

Start putting your needs first so you don’t feel like you are the bottom of the to-do list all the time. Making you feel great, more positive and ready to take on the world!

You’ll rediscover the old you (the one you lost when the kids came along) and get you’ll get her out to play, she is so much fun! No more being ‘just a mom’. Start enjoying life again to the full, like you did back in day.

You will find time to pamper yourself, to slip in some well deserved “me time” instead of running around like a headless chicken! A headless chicken who looks like it’s been dragged through a hedge backwards!

You can enjoy your down time, guilt free! Rather than feeling guilty when you do get time to yourself and then end up wasting that time by picking up toys and doing the laundry.

You will be the happy balanced mama you want to be, setting a great example to your kids rather than frumpy, grumpy mama that you feel like right now.

Q&A

What do I need?
Just yourself, no special equipment required!

How much time a day?
That's the secret, you will be slipping these bite sized self care treats into your normal routine. You might need to carve out the odd 10 minutes here or there, or just spend less time on facebook!

What will it cost?
The course is free, you might want to buy the odd thing during the week but if money is tight, you can join in with what you have got.

So are you ready? Ready to give frumpy mama the boot and get back on track?

.
Then pop your name
and email addy below and you will be whizzed off to get the challenge details!

No, I won't sell your deets and yes you will get my weekly playbook, which is awesome!

Are You A Time Starved Mama?

One thing I hear ALL the time is mamas complaining they don't have enough time.

  • Not enough time to get their hair done.
  • Not enough time to work on their own projects.
  • Not enough time to exercise!

Well it's no secret that I am a bit of a time ninja, I know how to get shit done! So I've put together a mini course (free) with my top tips on making the most of your time. Don't worry, I won't be telling you to go to bed later and get up earlier (I love my sleep far too much to be doing that)

I do share the techniques I use to run my business, home and family. How I have time to make most meals from scratch, including bread and cheese! I also after-school Ebi-kun, and don't have a cleaner, baby-sitter or handy MIL! I still manage to fit in MY hobbies, drawing, sewing, making and crafting. Oh and learning, I'm always taking courses!

I'm not supermom but I do make good use of my time!

Sign up here, I won't sell or even give your email address away, you will get the jojoebi playbook: What Macgyver would do if he had kids (which goes out weekly!)
